Recognized for their finesse, purity, and incredible aging potential, the 700 vintages are legendary. A blend of grape varieties (43% Chardonnay, 30% Meunier, and 27% Pinot Noir) and plots (Grand Crus and Premier Crus only), the 747 vintage comes from the 2019 harvest. With heavy frosts in the spring causing significant damage to the Chardonnays, this vintage is predominantly Pinot Noir. The result is a more vinous style in this less generous, but high-quality vintage.
On the nose, it expresses notes of citrus and brioche. Its bubbles are very fine, airy, and elegant. On the palate, the citrus persists and offers a taut, fresh frame, followed by vanilla and the roundness of wood. A fine and complex Champagne profile.
