Gérard Gauby, pioneer of biodynamic wines and one of the first to prove the greatness of Roussillon, unveils his great vintage "Coume Gineste". This wine comes from old Grenache Gris and Grenache Blanc vines (60 years old) facing due north and has undergone aging for one year, 50% of which is in new barrels and 50% in wine barrels with regular batonnage. Only 2000 bottles were produced. The vines are located on the same terroir as La Roque in red, this cuvée offers an authentic Mediterranean vision with all the qualities of a more northern white. The schist, clay and marl soils let the roots dive very deeply, which brings additional complexity to this wine. The wine delivers a beautiful golden color, a dazzling racy nose, on exotic fruits and flowers, a pure and crystalline mouth, perfect in density, volume and finesse.
