“Le Troquet” evokes the spirit of a friendly wine, simple and generous, made to be shared. Produced on the slopes of the left bank of the Rhône, facing Condrieu, this cuvée reflects the character of its granitic soils. Here, Julien Merlin reveals a Syrah beautifully balanced between freshness and power, between spices and fruit. Marked by ripe fruit aromas and remarkable elegance, it is a Syrah made for pleasure and conviviality. To preserve the expression of its terroir, the wine is aged for 10 months in oak barrels that have already contained between one and five wines.
