This Pitchoun ("child" in Provençal) showcases Syrah (80%), supplemented with Grenache. While the nose is still reserved, releasing discreet notes of candied morello cherry and wisteria when aerated, the palate seduces with its brilliance, around flavors of cherry stone and almond paste, and with its balance between roundness, firm structure and good acidity. A promising red to let breathe for a few months in the cellar.
